Our Journey From One Bat to a Global Brand
Coming from years in the tourism industry, Nawab admitted his daughter to a cricket academy. Her uncle gifted her an international-grade bat, and when the academy trainer's son kept asking to buy it, Nawab casually quoted ₹30,000 - and it sold on the spot. That moment revealed a real market for premium cricket bats.
Nawab travelled across cricket markets in India, meeting manufacturers and suppliers to understand what truly separates a premium bat from an ordinary one.
With knowledge and supplier relationships in place, the groundwork for a dedicated premium bat business began to take shape.
Set up and successfully launched a physical store, built connections with 100+ local Players, and established a strong supply chain for the NK brand.
Word of mouth grew NK's reputation across Hyderabad, with more academies and serious players choosing NK bats season after season.
NK began exporting ultra-premium bats to the international market, reaching players in the USA, UK, and the UAE.
Sponsored NK bats during IPL 2022, putting the brand in the spotlight as Rajasthan Royals star Obed McCoy delivered a six on the very first ball with an NK bat, lighting up the big screen and giving the brand a memorable moment on the IPL stage.
The export network expanded further into Singapore and Australia, with NK bats now reaching players across 13+ countries.
NK refined its craftsmanship standards further, working closely with willow suppliers to maintain premium consistency at scale.
NK crossed the milestone of 10,000+ bats sold worldwide, built one relationship and one innings at a time.
